Feeling like a challenge? Or just looking to try something new? Why don't you enter the annual Wellington Regional Sugarcraft Competition & Exhibition?
The competition is open to all age groups and skill levels, and you do not have to be a guild member to enter.
Committee member, Josie Durney, says “The local Cake Decorating Guild’s hold an annual competition at the Dowse, which is the largest competition in New Zealand solely dedicated to cake decorating and artistry. It is a great opportunity to help foster the art of decorating and to showcase talent that us New Zealanders have. This year the theme is “Up and Away”. We can’t wait to see what people come up with this year to enter, as every year the entries just get more and more interesting and innovative. We also have stallholders and fundraising tables to support the local guilds, and raffles to be won. The show is open to the public Saturday 28th July and Sunday 29th July”
