We were one of just six finalists selected from over 200 entries — and honestly, we're still buzzing from that alone!

🥂 Gala Night Highlights

The Gala Dinner was held in Lower Hutt on Friday 17th November, and what a night it was. We might not have taken home the trophy (congrats to Sarin Hotels!), but it was such a beautiful way to celebrate almost 15 years in business — including 10 years at our retail shop in Lower Hutt.

💪 Small Team, Big Heart

We are constantly amazed by what we can achieve with our tight-knit team in such a tiny space. From managing illness to juggling small humans and busy days — we make it work, always stepping in where needed.

We want to say the biggest thank you to YOU — our loyal customers, our regulars, our last-minute gifters, our cupcake fanatics, and our DIY bakers.

Running a small business in New Zealand isn't easy, especially in a market full of bakeries, cafés, and cake shops. And yes... Covid happened.
While many businesses had to close, we managed to keep the doors open (aside from the mandated lockdowns). We juggled staffing and somehow kept things running thanks to our incredible team.

We’re incredibly proud to have made it this far — 15 years in and still baking, decorating, delivering, and spreading joy.
