Delivery & Shipping Information

🚚 Free Shipping – Decorating Supplies Only

Spend $120 or more on cake decorating supplies and get free standard shipping NZ-wide. Use code FD at checkout.
Note: Does not apply to cupcakes or same-day delivery.

Same Day Delivery – Wellington Region

  • $22 standard same day delivery (Mon–Fri)

  • Order before 12pm for same-day service

  • Saturday delivery: $22 — Order by 9am

Rush Delivery (Mon–Fri only)

  • $40 for delivery by 11:30am

  • Available in Lower Hutt & Wellington CBD only

  • Or, request delivery within 3 hours

Kapiti Delivery – $45

Includes: Waikanae, Paraparaumu, Raumati, Paekākāriki

  • Order by midday for same-day delivery before 7pm (Mon–Fri only)

Rural Delivery – $60

Areas include: Te Marua, Blue Mountains Rd, Judgeford, Makara, etc.

  • We’ll contact you to confirm before dispatch

  • Available Mon–Fri only

Additional Notes:

  • Earliest delivery time: 11:30am (standard) or 9.30am (Rush)

  • For specific time requests, add a note at checkout

  • Pick-up available Mon–Sat: 13 Trafalgar Square, Waterloo

  • No deliveries on Sundays or Public Holidays

Standard Delivery – $9 Flat Rate

  • Nationwide courier (1–2 working days for non-rural)

  • Courier collects Mon–Fri at 3pm

  • Orders after 3pm Friday ship Monday

  • Delivery date selected?  We’ll aim to match it as closely as possible, and 95% of our orders are delivered overnight Monday - Friday delivery only. However, we don't guarantee this, and will not offer refunds if delivery is delayed.

  • Tracking details sent when shipped

  • Large/bulky orders may incur extra shipping – we’ll contact you first

Same Day Wellington Delivery (Decorating Supplies Only)

  • Select $22 Same Day Courier at checkout

  • Order + payment must be received by 12pm

🍰 Cupcake Jars + Chocolate Brownie

  • Dispatched Monday to Wednesday only

  • No Thursday / Friday/weekend dispatch (to avoid perishable items sitting in courier depots over the weekend.

❗ Important Delivery Notes

  • Please include a contact number in case of delivery issues

  • If the recipient isn’t home and can’t be reached, we’ll leave the order in the safest spot

  • A redelivery fee may apply if no safe place is available or incorrect delivery details are provided or if cupcakes need to be returned to Cupcake Sweeties.

  • We do not deliver cupcakes to Wairarapa, but we have a range of treats for nationwide delivery or you’re welcome to pick up from our store in Lower Hutt

Classes

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Bookings are non-refundable.
  • If you can no longer attend, your booking may be transferred to another person. Please let us know in advance.
  • Classes require a minimum of 5 participants to go ahead. If this minimum is not met, Cupcake Sweeties may cancel or reschedule the class. Participants will be notified at least 72 hours prior and offered a transfer or full refund.
  • If Cupcake Sweeties needs to cancel a class for any other reason, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
  • Refunds cannot be given for participant cancellations or non-attendance.
