What is a Cake in a Box?
Cake in a Box is a single-layer slab cake in 2 sizes presented in a box, decorated in your choice of selected colours or theme. It’s an easy option for birthdays, office celebrations, family events and gifting.
How much notice do you need for cake orders?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cake orders, although more notice is always appreciated. If you need a cake for the same day, please contact us to check — we may be able to help.
Do you deliver cakes in Wellington?
Yes, we offer cake delivery across Wellington. You can also choose pickup from our Waterloo, Lower Hutt store. See FAQ for delivery information.
Do you make birthday cakes in Wellington?
Yes, we make a simple range of birthday cakes in Wellington, including Cake in a Box, chocolate and vanilla slab cakes, and cake-and-cupcake combos. Pickup and Wellington delivery are available.
Do you make fully custom cakes?
Our cake range is designed to be simple, easy and delicious. We offer Cake in a Box, slab cakes and cake-and-cupcake combos with selected colour, theme and topper options, but we do not offer fully custom-designed cakes.
What size Cake in a Box should I order?
Our smaller Cake in a Box is ideal for smaller celebrations, up to 12 serves, while our larger size is better for groups, office treats and parties, up to 24 serves. You are also welcome to add on cupcakes or mini cupcakes in the same theme as the cake.
