Looking for a true white buttercream base? Sno Creme is a high-quality vegetable shortening that’s perfect for making dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly buttercream alternatives.

Because it’s pure white, Sno Creme helps achieve vibrant, accurate icing colours—no more teal instead of blue, or chartreuse instead of green. It’s also more stable than butter in hot or humid weather, helping your designs hold their shape beautifully.

  • Stable decorations on warm days - often used for wedding cakes
  • Pairing with flavour oils like LorAnn for endless flavour options

Decorator tip:
For a balance of flavour and stability, try mixing half butter, half Sno Creme. You’ll get a whiter base with a light buttery taste.

Basic Buttercream Recipe:
  • 1 cup Sno Creme (180g)
  • 500g icing sugar
  • ~70ml water or milk
  • Flavour with vanilla or LorAnn oil (optional)
    Mix shortening, flavour and liquid until smooth. Add icing sugar and beat well. Adjust water to reach desired consistency. Makes approx. 3 cups of icing.
