Add a beautiful gold satin sheen to your cakes and sugarcraft creations with Barco Lilac Label Gold Perfect Pearl Dust. This fine, food-grade decorating powder gives fondant, gum paste flowers and sugar decorations a soft, pearlescent gold finish.
Brush it on dry to highlight textured details, petals and edges, or mix with a suitable painting medium to paint lettering, accents and decorative designs.
How to use
- Dry dusting: Dip a clean, dry, food-safe brush into the powder and tap off any excess. Gently brush onto fondant or gum paste, building up the colour and sheen gradually.
- Painting: Mix with Barco Quick Paint, Paint Base or pure lemon extract. Start with equal parts powder and medium, then adjust to your desired consistency. Stir regularly as the powder settles, and allow each coat to dry before applying another. For chocolate, choose a painting medium suitable for chocolate.
Use a small round brush for fine details or a wider, flat brush for larger areas.

Orders placed Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day. Courier collection is at 3 pm, so orders received after this time may be sent the next business day.

Nationwide delivery usually takes 1–2 working days for non-rural addresses. Tracking details are sent once your order has been dispatched.
